About
A social enterprise for local arts and music
Future Sounds started with music projects for young people. We now bring what we have learned to whole communities.
Our story
From school projects to joined-up towns
Future Sounds began as a way to improve young people's access to music. We found that local partnerships between schools, tutors and funders could achieve more than any one of them alone.
The same is true of a town's wider creative life. Practitioners do good work, but local people, and the schools, councils and social prescribers who support them, often can't find them. We now join them up, directly and through those services, using facilitation and software we have built for the purpose.
